As much as I love the photographing weddings, I’m usually exhausted this time of year. I long for the wedding season to slow down, so I can spend more time with my son & husband. A few weeks ago, I had a weekend available and we decided to go camping with friends at Camp Dick outside of Nederland. It was a awesome. It was exactly what my soul needed… a weekend to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life!

Kristina & Nathan were married at The Chapel at Red Rocks and held their reception at The Fox Hollow in Lakewood. During our initial phone conversation, Kristina told me it was love at 1st site when she met Nathan. I believe it! They are so cute together. This is by far the coolest, most unexpected photo session I have ever done. Brooke contacted a few days before attending an Opera with her boyfriend, Tom, in Central City. They decided to dress up for the big night, which made the idea even more special! I was beyond thrilled, for it would be my 1st time shooting in my home town!! What I didn’t expect was a surprise proposal at the end of the session. Yes, that’s right. Tom PROPOSED and Brooke had no idea!! It was soooooo sweet and adorable and I can’t believe I was there to capture it! You two rock!

I had the pleasure of photographing Justine & Roberto’s wedding on July 10, 2010. The ceremony was held at the Chapel at Red Rocks in Morrison. Justine & Berto had been together for 10 years before saying their I do’s. They have a beautiful family and 2 adorable boys, Adrian & Gabriel. Congratulations Justine & Berto!!! I feel so lucky to have photographed your wedding and want to wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Melissa & Jack wed at the Red Rock Trading Post in Morrison, Colorado on June 27, 2010. The Trading Post is located in the center of the park next to the amphitheater. That same day one of my favorite bands, Widespread Panic, was playing in the amphitheater. Although I couldn’t really hear them, it was super fun to be there!
